Vikki M. McKinnie, M.D.

Vikki M. McKinnie, MD is from Sneads and is a native Floridian. She received her Associate of Arts degree from Chipola Junior college. During her undergraduate career she was a recipient of the Florida Undergraduate Scholarship. She continued her undergraduate education at the University of Florida and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Science. She graduated with highest honors in May 1997. She also completed her medical training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. During her residency, she was involved in medical student education and was recognized for her teaching efforts. She was awarded the John R. McCain, MD presentation award for outstanding research by the South Atlantic Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologist in January, 2005. Additional recognitions given to her by the Medical University of South Carolina Faculty include the Resident Research Award and The J. Marion Sims Award for Surgical Excellence. She completed her residency training in June 2005. She is an active member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologist, American Medical Association, and Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Dr. McKinnie and her husband, Butch Bundy, are glad to be back in the panhandle.
